Analysis of Global Search and Research Interests on Dentists Using Infoveillance and Bibliometric Approaches

About half of the world’s population requires services a dentist. However, in-depth understanding concerns and priorities global public scientific communities concerning dentists is essential for planning development sustainable strategies, interventions, policies that will cater current oral health needs. Therefore, this study investigated search research interests on using hybrid design—a combination infoveillance bibliometric designs. The data analysed in were obtained from Google Trends SCOPUS. findings show that, over years, there has been significant growth volume information outputs with huge inequalities existing between Global South North. It also notable COVID-19 pandemic played significantly influential role dissemination trends dentists. knowledge funding dentist-related flow countries review network visualisation keyword co-occurrence revealed misplaced priority interest areas health. could help to shape future dental healthcare policy.
